On October 24, the Faculty of Physics, Astronomy and Applied Computer Science had the honor of hosting Professor KJ Lin and Grace EH Yeh from Chang Gung University in Taiwan. During this visit, our guests had the opportunity to visit the Solaris synchrotron and take part in a seminar during which teams from FAIS (part of the Mark Kac Center for Complex Systems Research) and Chang Gung University presented their research profiles and the latest research in the field of computer science.
The aim of the visit was to learn about the research areas of both universities and develop cooperation in the scientific field, as well as to initiate talks on establishing a student exchange under the Erasmus program between the Jagiellonian University and CGU.
