Procedure for the Extension of Employment for an Indefinite Period

The Dean submits a request to the Rector for the extension of employment for an indefinite period.

The procedure is initiated by the Director of the Institute from which the person concerned originates.

Each academic teacher for whom a request for the extension of employment is being prepared must first undergo a periodic evaluation (if such an evaluation has not been previously conducted).

The procedure is conducted by the Faculty Committee for the Resolution of Competitions in Institutes, appointed by the Faculty Council.

The result of the evaluation (positive or negative), together with its justification, is presented to the Dean.

In the event of a positive evaluation by the Committee, supported by a positive opinion of the Institute Council from which the candidate originates, the Dean applies to the Faculty Council for an opinion on the extension of employment, attaching the justification prepared by the Committee. After obtaining a positive opinion of the Faculty Council, the Dean submits a request to the Rector for the extension of employment for an indefinite period.

The final decision is made by the Rector.
